We are excited to be growing as a company and adding new team members to Team Makan. Makan Hospitality Management LLC owns and operates several hotels within Central Arkansas. We are looking for a customer service focused Assistant General Manager. An ideal candidate is an energetic team leader that thrives within a fast-paced and upbeat work environment. Detail-oriented, multi-tasking, and forward-thinking qualities are crucial for this position.
JOB REQUIREMENTS + RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must have experience and be able to execute all positions: in Housekeeping, Front Desk, Breakfast, and Front Office.
- Must have knowledge and experience with GXP and MGS.
- Ensure company team culture and core values are instilled within hotel
- Conduct Leadership One-On-Ones with each Employee per Quarter
- Oversee the operations of multiple departments
- Oversee all guest satisfaction reviews and respond in a timely manner
- Ensure daily rates are maximized while keeping occupancy high to continue strong revenue growth
- Be cognizant of room availability on a daily basis to ensure all available rooms are listed as such to help maximize revenue
- Check meeting room needs + setups for cleanliness and availability
- Ensure that the EOS Shift Reports are completed fully and submitted daily
- Monitor all no-show charges, credit card discrepancies and charge backs
- Schedule Weekly Front Desk Shifts
- Conduct at least one routine property walk per day to correct any safety hazards and to address cleanliness issues
- Investigate, report, and coordinate all hotel accidents that are employee and guest related
- Assist in the selection and continuous training of staff to provide high quality service to guests
- Must have the ability to work various hours and shifts per week - with an average of 50 hours
