Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Operations Coordinator at Achieve Logistics Systems Transport in Wilmington, DE. The Operations Coordinator will oversee daily operations, manage logistics, provide customer service, offer administrative assistance, and ensure smooth transportation services for students.
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for the timely and accurate dispatch of fleet vehicles for the pickup and delivery of students while providing excellent customer service to all internal/external stakeholders. This position reports to the General Manager.
· Liaison with school Principles and parents regarding transportation programs and students.
· Provide day-to-day support in bus routing and bus stop assignments.
· Assist in the preparation and submission of reports required by the Department of Education (accident reports, eligible pupils, mileage reports, etc.).
· Assist in the development of initiative-taking safety measures, Summer School routing and reporting.
· Prepare and administer bus routes including Special Education, Special Programs, alternative placements, McKinney-Vento/court ordered/foster care, field trips and after-school and sports activity.
· Outbound and Inbound calls
· Ensure drivers meet company requirements prior to dispatching
· Other duties assigned
Qualifications
- Analytical Skills, Operations Management, and Administrative Assistance
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- Experience in coordinating logistics and operations
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation procedures is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
NON-NEGOTIABLE DISQUALIFICATIONS
A DUI History, convictions involving children, any felony conviction.
A suspended license must have been reinstated one year prior to applying.
