Signature Custom Cabinetry is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair our cabinetry manufacturing machinery, equipment, tools, buildings, and other physical structures. We build beautiful custom cabinetry in our state-of-the-art facility. If you have a solid background in maintaining equipment & buildings and working with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and LP gas systems, we hope you will apply to join our growing company.
Our Ideal Industrial Maintenance Technician:
- Experienced: A High school diploma and at least two years of working in an industrial environment is preferred.
- Driven: Desire to learn our equipment and work quickly to respond to the plant's needs. Well-maintained equipment helps ensure our customers receive high-quality products on time.
- Mechanical Skills: Someone who can read & interpret diagrams, schematics, drawings, and other related documentation. Ability to work safely with hydraulic, pneumatic, and other industrial mechanical and automation tools.
- Equipment Maintenance: Must have experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for industrial equipment, HVAC systems, etc. Ability to work safely & correctly with 480-volt, 3-phase electricity is preferred.
- Building Maintenance & Repair: Basic knowledge of keeping up buildings & grounds, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, housekeeping services, replacing lighting lamps & fixtures, and maintaining grounds, including snow removal
- Metalwork: Knowledge of basic metalworking & fabrication, including welding, cutting, drilling, and grinding.
- Detailed: Ability to follow a systematic process for assessing equipment for repairs and maintenance. Highly organized. Keeps neat, accurate records.
- Adaptable: Able to navigate changes to your daily priorities and problem-solve challenges to ensure task completion. Flexible with daily schedule depending on maintenance and repairs needed.
- Active: This is a very physical job that requires working from ladders and scissor lift trucks, pushing, pulling, crouching and bending, and lifting up to 100 lbs.
