About the Company:
An Order Processing Specialist (OPS) is an administrative position responsible for full-cycle sales order management and high-quality administrative support. Order Processing Specialists work in collaboration with sales, marketing, and finance for accurate capture and validation of orders. Responsible for the efficient handling of sales orders, invoices, and post-sales support. Requires communication with Sales Representatives, vendors, and customers to confirm orders and ensure that customer requests are met accurately and in time for delivery.
Primary Job Duties:
- Sales order processing
- Purchase order processing
- Vendor AP and credit processing
- Order entry, tracking, and confirmation
- Shipment coordination
- Order invoicing
- Process return requests, issue RMA's, provide order status
- Customer records
- Sales team administration (reporting, reconciliation, and contract compliance)
- General administrative duties (phone, filing, mail, and etc.)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
- 2+ years administrative or order processing experience
Desires Qualifications:
- 2+ years Quickbooks experience
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and bookkeeping principles and procedures
