Join a leading industrial additives company as the Director of North America Supply Chain. In this pivotal role for the global organization, you will spearhead strategic supply chain operations, driving complexity reduction and process improvement across a highly dynamic and technical environment.
We're looking for a leader with a strong background in chemical, oil & gas, or other commodities industries who can navigate the challenges of a global supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a large cross-functional team, focusing on Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), customer service, and supply chain execution.
- Drive transformation initiatives aimed at complexity reduction, process enhancement, and technology adoption within the supply chain.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Procurement and Operations, to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.
- Develop and implement data-driven performance management systems to continuously improve supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Act as the primary interface for supply chain matters in leadership meetings, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder alignment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain management within manufacturing, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in chemicals, oil & gas, or similar industries.
- Proven experience in leading change management initiatives and driving supply chain transformation.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing large cross-functional teams
- Expertise in S&OP processes, with a solid understanding of planning, scheduling, and customer service operations.
- Familiarity with Lean principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and advanced supply chain planning tools.
- Willingness to travel frequently and the ability to work in a hybrid schedule with a preference for candidates based in the Houston area.
