Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting & Resource Specialist. This role will be responsible for managing tasks across three critical areas: accounting, inventory control, and human resources.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting
- Manage daily financial transactions, including payroll processing, invoicing, as well as tracking accounts receivable and payable.
- Perform month-end close duties, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits by providing necessary documents and explanations.
- Facilitate communication between the accounting department and other departments to ensure financial policies are understood and followed.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Inventory Control
- Review ERP inventory transactions daily to maintain accuracy.
- Troubleshoot issues with inventory reports and implement solutions.
- Develop and execute plans for cycle counts and physical inventory audits on a regular basis.
- Ensure inventory levels are optimized, and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
Human Resources
- Lead the interview and onboarding process for facility staff, including scheduling and conducting interviews, reviewing candidates, and managing onboarding paperwork.
- Assist in ongoing training programs for employees.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Support employee relations and address any HR-related inquiries or issues.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in AP/AR, Payroll Processing, Onboarding & Training of Employees are needed.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and time management.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production setting is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Epicor Preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingual - Spanish
