Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data solutions that align with the financial industry's standards and requirements.
- Develop and implement architectural strategies for metadata management, operational data stores, and ETL environments, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and performance.
- Define and implement data dictionary definitions, governance practices, and standards to ensure data quality and consistency across the organization.
- Design and implement scalable and efficient data storage solutions using Snowflake, optimizing for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Develop and manage cloud-based data architectures, ensuring scalability and security.
- Leverage expertise in data modeling, warehousing, and mining to drive insights and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data systems and streamline data flow.
- Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory compliance and data governance within the financial domain.
- Review and analyze the organization's data infrastructure, recommending and implementing optimized database solutions.
- Conduct data quality assessments and implement measures to enhance accuracy and integrity.
- Guide the adoption of new data technologies and methodologies to keep pace with industry trends.
- Apply advanced skills in SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing to create efficient and effective data structures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Architect, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Cloud certification (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with data security and privacy standards.
