We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Operations to lead and oversee our regional operations, ensuring alignment with company goals and reporting directly to the CEO.
Position Overview:
As the Vice President of Operations, you will play a critical role in driving the operational success of SkyHop Global. You will have oversight of our regional teams, ensuring that all operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in accordance with our company’s standards. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of transportation operations, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across all aspects of the business.
Note: Candidates must reside within commuting distance from the Fort Lauderdale area. Candidates currently residing in the Fort Lauderdale/ Miami area will be given priority consideration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight to regional operations, ensuring all locations operate efficiently and meet performance targets.
- Collaborate with regional managers to develop and implement operational strategies that align with corporate goals.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including DOT standards.
- Drive operational excellence by implementing best practices, optimizing processes, and leading initiatives to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Work closely with the CEO to develop and execute the company’s strategic plan, with a focus on operational scalability and growth.
- Lead, mentor, and develop regional managers to build a high-performing operations team.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and financial management for regional operations.
- Foster a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regional operations, representing the company in meetings with clients, vendors, and industry partners.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. (transportation industry a plus).
- Proven track record of successfully managing multi-regional operations and leading large teams.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations, including DOT standards.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and lead teams toward achieving strategic goals.
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational improvements and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial management.
- Ability to travel as needed to oversee regional operations.

Pay: $145,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
