Location: Phoenix, AZ
Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, including production, production scheduling, quality control, safety, maintenance, and personnel management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and possess excellent leadership and organizational skills. The Production Supervisor will report directly to the Vice President of Operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Plan and oversee daily production activities for timely and efficient manufacturing.
- Monitor production schedules, budgets, and personnel to meet targets.
- Implement continuous improvement to boost productivity and reduce costs.
- Enforce safety policies and maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
- Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions.
- Recruit, train, and supervise production staff.
- Foster a positive work culture and conduct performance evaluations.
- Manage staffing levels and employee scheduling for production demands.
- Monitor inventory and coordinate with procurement for supplies.
- Optimize inventory turnover and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams.
- Provide regular updates to upper management on plant performance.
- Prepare and present KPI and production metric reports.
- Maintain quality control and address quality issues promptly.

What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Proven experience as a Manufacturing Plant Manager or similar role.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Proficiency in manufacturing software and ERP systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
