Senior Python SDET - (API Testing - PyTest, Requests) - 100% Remote - W2 Contract
Optomi, in partnership with a software company within the regulatory industry, is seeking a Senior Senior Software Engineer in Test to fulfill a long-term contract opportunity with a client based out of Southern California.
In this position, the Candidate will be writing code to create automated testing frameworks and suites for API, UI and Integration testing across various levels, utilizing Python 3.x.

Apply Today If Your Background Includes:
- A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as CS, CIS or MIS
- 5+ years relevant work experience in software development .
- Strong in Python 3.x Programming
- Experience creating and maintaining UI test automation frameworks
- Experience creating and maintaining test automation frameworks for API's, UI's and data validation
- Familiarity with various software technologies, methodologies, and applied software engineering practices/standards such as OOP in an Agile development environment
- Strong familiarity with Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and Continuous Testing concepts
- Understanding and testing in AWS: SNS, SQS, Lambdas, ECS, EC2
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
