You will be responsible for managing the buying process for a given set of goods. Apply sourcing policy and interface between supplier and entity concerning specifications and budgets. Positions require a thorough understanding and application of approaches, theories, methodologies, and applications in a concrete organizational context.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Managing relationships with suppliers for PO execution, placing & following-up on PO’s
- Managing problems and schedule changes. Updating ERP - SAP
- Handling communication with colleagues and the business about data gathering and analysis
- Assisting in the continuous development of the Procurement function towards best practice
- Managing supplier relationships to understand the business, gather market intelligence, assess risk and ensure compliance with KPIs
- Overseeing the sourcing and buying process to ensure products are delivered according to quality, specifications and budgets
- Developing and reviewing Suppliers and managing PIR/Source list
- Creating and managing Contract/Spend/Savings Projects
- Collaborating with Category team for alignment on projects and Supporting Tender
- Managing PO and aligning Supply schedule, controlling Inventory and supplier quality
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a diploma / GED with at least 3-5 years of experience in Procurement).
- Be able to demonstrate good oral and written communication skills
- Need to have working experience in Oil & Gas domain
- Demonstrate good interpersonal and leadership skills
- Be a team player with ability to work independently
- Demonstrate good problem-solving skills on technically
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
