Position: CADD/ BIM Tech
Duration: Permanent
Pay rate: $18-25/hr
Working Hours: Monday 8:00-5:30/ Tuesday-Thursday 7:30-5:30/ Friday 7:30-12:00
Must Haves:
- Technical CADD degree or high school diploma with equivalent work experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Proficient in Revit
- Ability to input red marks accurately and completely into CADD system
Plusses:
- Experience in the MEP industry
- Ability to communicate with appropriate internal team members to discuss status of work
Day-to-day:
An employer in the San Antonio, TX area is looking for a CADD technician. The CADD Drafter will be responsible for documenting red marks generated by design personnel into AutoCAD or Revit for projects. They will prepare design documents appropriate for the project and in accordance with company standards. This person will review drawings to ensure that all red marks have been completed correctly and entered into the CADD program. They will also monitor project status and development to meet project deadlines and coordinate manpower needs weekly with the lead engineer for the project.
