Job Title: Quality Specialist 2
Location: Miami FL
Duration: 6+ Months Contract(Possible of Extension)
Salary Range: $40-$48 an hour on W2
Assists with audits and assessments of supplier''s systems, processes and products. Documents audit and assessment results. Inspects or verifies less complex products for compliance. Monitors supplier quality related activities and reports issues. Individual will perform inspection of both assemblies and piece parts at supplier facilities. Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Requirements:
•3+ years of experience
•High School Degree
•College Degree preferred
•Knowledge of Procurement Processes
Repair station and inspection experience
Describe the project/day-to-day activities they will be working on:
• 1. Performing assessments of manufacturing processes like sealing, hole preparation, painting, and performing inspections of large composite structures.
• 2. Using requirements to determine Product Acceptance.
• 3. Working with our source inspection team to answer inquiries
• 4. Performing corrective actions using the *** Problem Solving Model (BPSM)
What are the Top 3-5 Technical/Software Skills needed to perform this role/job?
• 1. Absolute comfort creating Excel spreadsheets to manipulate and record data. No time to train in this area
• 2. Access to Supplier Quality System (SQIS) to release corrective action requests (SERs)
• 3. Experience in performing inspections on large composite structures.
• 4. Ability to set up and run a Webex conference call with Senior Leaders in Seattle. You must be able to communicate technical issues professionally and concisely.
