Responsibilities
- Oversee the performance and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
- Ensure all equipment is operated and maintained within the manufacturers' specifications and the operating guidelines of the property
- Maintain logs and records on preventative maintenance
- Complete work order repairs in a timely manner
- Coordinate outside contractor work and inform building management of work schedule
- Order parts and equipment required for maintenance, repairs and equipment installation
- Obtain and maintain the licenses and permits required by local jurisdiction laws and ordinances to operate, repair and maintain the facility equipment and systems
- Communicate with building management on matters relating to services performed
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a commercial building engineer
- Refrigeration Operator License , CFC Universal License, SMA, or SMT Certification highly preferred
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
