Position Overview
Lloyd Baker Injury Attorneys is seeking a full-time, on-site Pre-Litigation Attorney for their Phoenix, Arizona office. In this role, you will:
- Provide legal representation to clients who have been injured due to others' negligence or misconduct.
- Focus on handling personal injury cases, advocating for clients' rights, and ensuring they receive fair compensation.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of personal injury cases, including reviewing medical records, police reports, and other relevant documents.
- Offer legal advice and guidance to clients, explaining their rights and legal options.
- Conduct legal research to support case strategies and stay informed on relevant laws and regulations.
- Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
- Represent clients in negotiations with insurance companies, opposing counsel, and other parties.
- Prepare and present persuasive arguments during settlement conferences to advocate for clients.
- Collaborate with experts, including medical professionals, accident reconstruction specialists, and economists, to build strong cases.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files, including all relevant documents, correspondence, and evidence.
- Keep clients regularly updated on the progress of their cases and promptly respond to their inquiries.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, striving to secure the maximum compensation possible.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Arizona State Bar in good standing.
- 1-3 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury law.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Arizona personal injury laws, regulations, and legal procedures.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex legal issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with staff, clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
- Outstanding negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and proficient in time management.
- Proficiency in legal research and case management software.
- Proven ability to manage a high volume of cases and meet deadlines.
- A track record of successful settlements.
