Job Title: Telecom Technician
Location: Nassau/Suffolk County, NY
Duration: Permanent, Direct Hire
Salary: $65-78,000 (or higher/negotiable based on experience)
Summary:
The Telecom Technician will be responsible for preforming site preparations and finishings, pulling and termination of cable, and installing station apparatus and operational tests for all PBX and key system products.
Responsibilities:
• Install all PBX, digital trunking, moves, adds, and changes (MAC) on BXs and auxiliary processor systems, such voicemail, ACDs and wireless products, and peripheral equipment.
• Responsible for the integrity of cable and wire from the MDF to the station apparatus.
• Stay abreast of current systems and applications offered by the manufacturer.
Qualifications:
• Experience performing moves, adds and changes on PBX equipment
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, floor plans and schematics.
