Metcalf Builders, Inc. is seeking a motivated Marketing/Office Specialist to join our growing Reno-based construction firm. Hourly pay is based on experience; health insurance is an option.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Liaison with our marketing company to achieve Metcalf expectations to develop marketing collateral for special projects, conventions, etc.
- Assist in bid and proposal packages going to clients.
- Work with our PR firm on what social media posts need to go out and where i.e.: Meta, X, LinkedIn.
- Coordinate orders, approving proofs and maintaining inventory of company signs and swag.
- Receive visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately.
- Answer incoming office phone calls. Receive & sort daily mail.
- Schedule meetings in conference room. Ensure the reception area and conference rooms are tidy and presentable.
- Order office supplies and keep inventory of stock.
- Track field office equipment, including laptops, monitors, copiers, iPads, etc.
- Work directly with Office Manager on scheduling and organizing company parties, Thirsty Thursday, Operations and Company events.
- Schedule servicing of office equipment and janitorial services.
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties as requested.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven work experience as an Office Assistant, Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role with an emphasis on marketing.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- A can-do attitude and friendly demeanor.
- Flexibility.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma, additional certification in Office Management is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
- Marketing experience.
