Position: SQL Developer
Duration: 12-month C2H
Location: Onsite at Simpsonville, KY
PR: $45-52/hr
Shift: 1st Shift Monday- Friday
Top Requirements:
- 3-5+ years' experience in a SQL environment.
- Strong proficiency in building reports in Power BI.
- Self-motivated with the ability to be independent and take reigns on tasks.
- Professional experience troubleshooting common database issues.
Plusses:
- Experience in the utility sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Experience with Data Analytics in any capacity.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering verbiage.
Daily Responsibilities:
An employer is looking for a SQL Developer for a 12 month contract to hire opportunity that will be helping the transition of the ADMS System (Advanced Distribution Management System). This SQL Developer’s main responsibilities will be writing SQL code, retrieving data, and building reports in Power BI to help with existing reporting tasks in the electrical engineering division. They will spend 70% of their time writing new code utilizing SQL, and 30% of their time maintaining the existing code. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with taking initiative on tasks and communicating with a variety of co-workers. This position will work within the Distribution Control Center, working cross functionally with the engineering team and alongside the IT team.
