The Human Resources Manager supports our client's mission, vision, values, strategic goals, and objectives by:
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating recruitment, hiring, orientation, succession planning, retention, and organization exit programs necessary to ensure the workforce’s ability to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Developing and implementing activities and programs that address Associate training, development, and talent management to ensure that the knowledge, skills, abilities, and performance of the workforce meet current and future organizational and individual needs.
- Developing and administering human resource programs, policies, and procedures in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Ensuring Associate relation activities are compliant with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Communicating policies, procedures, and programs to management and associates – attending daily manager meetings.
- Collaborating with leadership to coach and develop Associates through talent management techniques, career enhancement, and engagement activities.
- Assisting in establishing workplace policies and procedures; monitoring their use and enforcement to ensure consistency.
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating talent management programs and procedures (i.e., goal setting, job rotations, promotions).
- Implementing and administering compensation policies/programs based upon internal equity and external market conditions that support our client's strategic goals, objectives, and values.
- Administering payroll functions (new hires, deductions, adjustments, time off, etc.).
- Communicating and training Associates to understand our client's compensation and benefits programs and policies.
- Developing, implementing, and administering selection procedures, including interviewing, testing, reference and background checking, and drug screening.
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating orientation processes for new hires, rehires, and transfers.
- Supporting and branding our client's core values and Civil Workplace Policy through modeling, communication, and coaching.

Industry Technical and Workplace Experience
- 5+ years experience in an HR Generalist plus HR Manager experience
- Working knowledge of MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
- Knowledge of current employment laws and practices
Academic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR Management, Psychology, or related field
- PHR or SPHR preferred
