We are partnered with an architecture & engineering firm in the search of an Electrical Project Engineer to join a collaborative and innovative team.
Type: Direct Hire (no contract period)
Location: Rochester / Hybrid
Pay Range: $73,200 - $109,900 DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess project requirements, break projects into tasks, and work with the design team to define scope, budget, and staffing.
- Write scopes of work for electrical design based on client meetings.
- Prepare engineering studies, schematic designs, and analyze operations of existing systems.
- Resolve complex problems, including design conflicts, code issues, and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
- BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering with 12-15+ years of experience in A/E firms.
- Knowledge of NFPA/NEC codes, IECC, LEED, ASHRAE standards.
- Proficiency in Revit and electrical analysis software like SKM and Easy Power.
- Familiarity with sustainable commercial electrical system technologies.
Desired Skills and Experience
BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering with 12-15+ years of experience in A/E firms.
