The Senior Benefits Analyst will support our account team(s) primarily through excellent customer service to the client’s employee membership. Utilizing prior experience working with group benefit claims, the Senior Benefits Analyst works with internal and external partners to research, resolve, and communicate to employees. This role will also assist with processing benefit enrollment changes and internal operations compliance.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Collaborate with insurance carriers and employee membership to research and resolve claim and billing inquiries.
- Utilize understanding of health and benefit products educate employees on their plans and in claims advocacy with carrier partners.
- Process client requests for eligibility changes, including new enrollments, terminations, and other election updates.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide excellent and timely customer service.
- Maintain compliance with internal operations guidelines.
- Assist in various client specific and internal compliance projects as needed.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry/group benefits, human resources, or related field, specifically working in member advocacy/claims advocacy.
- Life & Health Insurance Producer license in good standing.
- Working knowledge in employee benefit insurance coverages and contracts.
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Windows environment, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
