Service Manager – Lab Equipment
Connecticut
Our client is a highly successful instrument / equipment manufacturer based in the Northeast. They are seeking an experienced manager to lead their in-house and field service team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Direct management of the support team based out of CT and in the field throughout the US. The support team provides instrument installation, troubleshooting, maintenance & user training
- Work with other departments to maintain growth within the service department
- Responsibility for the department’s performance monitoring KPIs and customer feedback
Candidate Qualifications
- Scientific/Engineering degree and at least 2 years’ management experience of engineers
- Electrical and Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience with lab equipment/instrumentation
- Outstanding communication skills and a desire to ‘go the extra mile’ for your customer
- Strong entrepreneurial character with the ability to run the service department like a small business
