Job Title: Director, Fulfillment Operations
Overview: The Director of Fulfillment Operations collaborates with the President to drive operational excellence across key areas including profitability, on-time delivery, client satisfaction, and employee retention. The role focuses on achieving target goals in quality, safety, cost management, and continuous improvement.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead fulfillment operations (B2B and B2C) to meet client SLAs, KPIs, and on-time delivery targets.
- Manage operations personnel, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Drive customer satisfaction through policy and process improvements.
- Oversee budget management, cost estimation for new business, and operational costs.
- Ensure quality control, inventory accuracy, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Develop warehouse management strategies, including equipment maintenance and technology optimization.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, contingency planning, and crisis management.
- Collaborate with IT and third parties to introduce new technologies and automation.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to support uninterrupted operations.
- Develop and manage key performance indicators, reporting, and analytics.
Additional Duties:
- Partner with the President and Client Services to onboard new customers and ensure profitable business growth.
- Supervise multi-location operations, maintaining efficiency and minimizing errors.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, OSHA regulations, and local safety standards.
- Lead and mentor the operations team, fostering growth, employee satisfaction, and a culture of excellence.
- Conduct regular team meetings, safety briefings, and all-hands sessions to drive alignment.
- Oversee ad hoc projects and provide support for the President as needed.
