This position will be located in our new facility in Marysville, Washington.
Role Overview and Responsibilities:
- Provide the day-to-day operation of the procurement and purchasing function.
- Purchase for components and materials based on inventory level, target, and projects.
- Continuously source and price components globally.
- Manage and continually source, evaluating the process, always looking for ways to improve.
- Generate action plans and ensure goals are met/exceeded.
- Coordinate with customs and freight forwarders to ensure on-time in full shipping and reasonable pricing.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-time in full delivery, product availability, and quality standards are met.
- Create and manage purchase orders.
- Communication with all levels of management and team members.
- Understand and keep updated on industry regulations.
- Other job functions as reasonably required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to administer all aspects of the purchasing process.
- Strong and proven ability to work on a team and individually, challenge processes and continually look for new and better ways.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while working on multiple projects.
- Demonstrates outstanding interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence. Able to always look at the bigger picture, with focus on the customer.
- Strong computer skills.
- 3+ years of experience working in purchasing or procurement areas is required.
- Previous experience sourcing and buying for a manufacturing/assembly environment.
- Previous experience working with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
- Higher education and/or bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Science, or a related field, preferably with a concentration in Supply Chain Management.
- Electrical experience and first aid certifications are assets.
- Computer skills – MS Office are an asset.
- Own vehicle/reliable transportation required.
- Ability to work overtime if needed required.

Compensation Range:
Salary will be based on experience and compatibility.
Total compensation to include salary, vacation, benefits, and other potential perks.
