Flexible Systems is currently looking to hire an IT Help Desk Technician on a full time, permanent basis. This position must be performed onsite in Long Island, NY. While the role is to be performed onsite, Flexible Systems ensures to offer their employees a flexible work/life balance.
Title: IT Help Desk Technician
Location: Long Island, NY
Responsibilities:
- Resolve IT support requests from clients.
- Answer client questions regarding computer systems.
- Gather and analyze data to diagnose problems with computer systems.
- Change configurations, settings, and permissions to fix computer issues.
- Generate sign-ins for new hires during the onboarding process.
- Install new software and hardware drivers and update existing ones as needed.
- Update clients on the status of their service requests.
- Log all service requests and update tickets as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1-3+ years of experience in an IT Help Desk or similar IT support role.
- Bachelor’s degree and//or relevant technical certifications nice to have, or equivalent professional hands-on work experience.
- Troubleshoot, manage, and support Windows and MS Azure environments.
- Troubleshoot and support network devices such as firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Hands on experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11/Server, Entra ID, Azure, and/or VMware ESXi.
- Experience with Azure AD Connect and Azure Conditional Access desired.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact directly with customers.
- Strong detail-orientation and polite, friendly demeanor with passion for helping others by sharing your knowledge of technology.
