We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Security Manager in the industry of information technology, specifically focusing on cybersecurity and auditing. Located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, this role involves managing and implementing security measures and protocols within the organization's infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the company's security measures, including access control and firewall technologies.
• Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies and standards across the organization.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with NIST and other industry standards.
• Manage and maintain the company's security database, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of data.
• Utilize Cisco Technologies to enhance the organization's security infrastructure.
• Handle EO/IR systems within the security infrastructure of the organization.
• Address and resolve security concerns and issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Utilize Linux systems in the implementation and management of security protocols.
• Maintain and manage government security clearances as required.
Requirements:
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, CISM or similar certification preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in Auditing and Cybersecurity compliance
• Solid understanding of CMMC and ISMS
• Familiarity with Cyber security policies and standards
• Proficiency in using Linux operating system
• Experience with NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) framework
• Government Security Clearance preferred
• Ability to manage and lead a team effectively
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
• Proven track record in developing and implementing security measures
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
