Experience with physically installing server racks, mounting servers in the racks, connecting all Ethernet and power cords and neatly routing / tying cables to the rack per the schematics and plans provided. 4-6 Years Experience.
Expected to work onsite in Santa Clara 8a-5p Mon-Fri. Racking and cabling. Occasional nights and weekend work will be needed

These techs will rack, cable and troubleshoot switches, routers, cables and servers to ensure we can meet our Network R&D timelines. Techs will need to be comfortable with single mode fiber, active optical cables, datacenter switches and routers, servers and proper cabling guidelines. Labeling, shipment logistics and work prioritization are all must-have skills. Bonus if they have learned scripting and configuration management tools like Salt Stack or Ansible to control the lab’s hundreds of devices at scale.
