Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Technical SEO Product Manager to drive the development and execution of our technical SEO strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical SEO, product management, and a deep understanding of how search engines work. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and content creators, to ensure our SEO products meet market needs and drive exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and execute projects which align with the strategic roadmap for our technical SEO product initiatives and overall business objectives.
- Technical SEO Expertise: Utilize your expertise in technical SEO to drive product development and enhancements, ensuring best practices are integrated into our solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, design, and marketing teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and deliver high-quality products.
- Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze SEO performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and guide product decisions. Leverage tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Lumar and internal data to gather insights.
- Customer Focus: Gather and interpret customer feedback and market research to inform product development and ensure our solutions meet user needs and expectations.
- Competitive Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to keep our products ahead of the curve.
- Product Launch & Optimization: Oversee the launch of new products and features, monitor their performance, and continuously optimize based on user feedback and Search Engine Web data.
- Documentation & Communication: Create and maintain detailed product documentation, including feature specifications, user guides, and release notes. Communicate product updates and changes effectively to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in technical SEO, product management, or a related role. Demonstrated success in managing SEO products or projects from concept to launch.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of SEO principles, search engine algorithms, web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Google Colab, BigQuery, Screaming Frog, Lumar, SEMRush, SimilarWeb, etc...).
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
