We are working with an esteemed and established mid-sized law firm seeking an Employment Litigation Associate with 2-4 years of relevant experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing skills and hands-on experience in employment litigation, including defending against both class actions and individual plaintiff cases. A solid understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations is required.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Representing clients in employment-related disputes.
- Drafting and responding to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Conducting legal research and analysis.
- Assisting with strategy development and case management.
- Advising clients on employment law issues and potential litigation risks.
Strong research and analytical abilities, along with exceptional academic credentials, are necessary. Candidates must be admitted to the State Bar of California.
The salary range for this position is $170,000 to $200,000 annually. While the final salary will be determined based on factors such as qualifications and experience, it is expected to fall within this range.
The annual billable hours expectation is 1,850, which includes up to 100 hours of approved pro bono work.
