Publicly traded company offers product storage and fulfillment solutions, and global logistics service, LTL, last-mile delivery services to the most successful companies in the world. We specialized in bulk and heavy items fulfillment and drop shipping. Our annual revenue is more than $500M and we are headquartered in the City of Rosemead. We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our team. This role's responsibilities are primarily focused on providing legal guidance to ensure that the company operates within the law, manages its risks effectively, and maintains its legal rights.
Essential Job Duties:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of contracts crucial for the company. This could includes DNA, sales agreements, vendor contracts, partnership deals, licensing agreements, privacy policies and terms of service.
- Preparing and reviewing corporate governance documents such as board resolutions, incorporation documents, articles and bylaws.
- Staying updated on and ensuring the company's adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
- Ensuring that the company complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to supply chain, labor, trade, and consumer protection.
- Manage intellectual property matters, such as trademark registrations, copyright protections, and licensing agreements, safeguarding the company's assets.
- Provide guidance on employment law issues and participate in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
- Resolving legal disputes or litigation, coordinating with general counsel as needed.
- Stay abreast of relevant legislation, regulatory changes, and industry trends that could impact the company.
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law in California.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a corporate legal department or law firms; preferably with U.S. public company experience.
- Experience with reviewing and drafting commercial contracts, including leases, NDAs.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing corporate governance documents such as board resolutions, incorporation documents, articles and bylaws.
- Highly motivated and willing to learn.
- Good writing and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual in English and Chinese language skills is a must.
