Role Description

The Dallas office of Walters Balido & Crain is actively reviewing resumes of attorneys who want to build on their current experience incivil appellate matters, insurance coverage, or commercial litigation.

Responsibilities:
- Exceptional research, writing, and briefing skills
- Case assessment for liability, loss, and damages
- Manage client reporting, billing, budgeting, and case management requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Drafting and responding to discovery
- Conducting depositions
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local rules
- Meet or exceed monthly billable hour goals
- Occasional travel
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice in the State of Texas
- Civil litigation/insurance defense experience preferred
- Able to work with a team in a collaborative environment or independently
- Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills
- Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel
Experience:
- Litigation: 1-5 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- TX Bar License (Required)
