We are looking for a Wireless Operational Support Engineer for a 3 month contract onsite in Los Angeles!
QUALIFICATIONS AND DUTIES:
Without supervision or assistance from others, be able to:
o effectively configure and troubleshoot Cisco and/or HP/Aruba Wireless Controller and Access Points is highly preferred.
o effectively configure, and troubleshoot AAA (Authentication, Authorization and Accounting) system such as HP/Aruba ClearPass system is highly preferred
o effectively manage, upgrade and utilize network monitoring tools and systems such as Aruba/HP Airwave on VMware platforms.
• Excellent understanding and hands on experience on troubleshooting routing and switch protocols such as BGP & MPLS.
• Good working knowledge on Wireless Spectrum analyzer.
o Rearranging Network equipment
o Install and configure network equipment.
o Install network modules, cards.
o Install Cat6e/Fiber patch Cords
o Troubleshoot LAN and WAN issues.
• A California Driver’s license, use of a car and be able to carry tools and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or Aruba/HP ClearPass related certificate is highly preferred.
