Job Title: Human Resources Administrator
Location: Onsite in Seattle, WA (near Sodo area)
Employment Type: Contract to Hire
Hours: M-F, full time, 8am-5pm
Pay Rate: $20-$23 per hour
Job Summary: LHH Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our client's team in Seattle, WA. The HR Administrator will provide administrative, clerical, and technical support to the HR department, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the HR department, including maintaining employee records, processing HR documents, and assisting with payroll.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries and issues.
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing new hire paperwork and conducting exit interviews.
- Maintain and update HR databases and systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of employee information.
- Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs and respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits.
- Support HR projects and initiatives as needed, including employee engagement activities and training programs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as federal and state employment laws.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- Some exposure to working in HR is preferred, OR at least 1 year of administrative experience with the desire to learn HR.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
