Your role at Clorox:
The Plant Operations & CI Leader is responsible for overseeing plant operations as well as the continuous improvement function in the plant. This leader ensures that plant operations successfully meet targets and complies with standards; collaborates with other plant functions to support operational & CI needs; and ensures successful implementation of operational excellence strategies and objectives.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee the entire plant operations of the facility, aiming for high performance
- Oversee personnel activities, including hiring, talent selection, development, disciplinary actions, and evaluations for operational personnel
- Drive people engagement, safety performance, quality compliance, and product availability within the span of control.
- Ensure transparency on key production metrics and escalate issues when necessary.
- Partner with Plant Leadership Team to drive end to end process and capability improvement to deliver breakthrough results.
- Collaborates with plant leadership team to develop and deliver site people plan.
- Collaborates with plant leadership team to develop and deliver site improvement strategies (X-Matrix)
- Creates and sustains a high performing team by developing and mentoring others to build capability.
- Provide coaching and training to guide Manufacturing Operations in establishing and implementing operations excellence principles (TPM/Lean) to delivery throughput, cost, and inventory improvement.
- Create and own an integrated master plan for implementation, including leadership activities, maintenance systems, sustaining processes, and other loss elimination tools.
- Coach and mentor the entire site on integrating GME tools, including creating and maintaining Area of Excellence structures and sequencing applications.
- Facilitate training and improvement activities with leadership and operational resources.
- Connect Business, division and local imperatives to the operations excellence work within the function.

- Communicate effectively, lead implementation, and analyze and review results.
- Develop operations excellence expertise in others.
What we look for:
- 3-5 years of experience in plant operations and continuous improvement and related topics with experience managing large groups spanning across multiple areas with increasing responsibility and a demonstrated track record of success
- 2 years of leadership experience, with a strong emphasis on overseeing plant operations
- Deep knowledge of operational & CI topics and challenges, enterprise goals and culture management
- Collaborates effectively and frequently with key stakeholders; is a trusted advisor who can influence plant decisions
- Elevates the knowledge of and sensitivity to operational topics and concerns into the broader business dialogue
- Synthesizes operational-related concerns into BU and plant manager communications
- Builds high performing teams; is a highly effective coach to team members; Provides feedback that stretches individual development
- Challenges and supports the team to explore and develop new and innovative approaches to achieve enterprise and plant-level goals

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $104,100 - $199,100
–Zone B: $95,500 - $183,300
–Zone C: $86,800 - $166,600
