Job Title: ETL Informatica Developer (PowerExchange)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced ETL Informatica Developer with specialized experience in PowerExchange to join our data management team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining efficient and reliable data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. They should have a strong understanding of Informatica PowerCenter along with PowerExchange to handle real-time data integration and bulk data movement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop ETL workflows and mappings using Informatica PowerCenter and PowerExchange.
- Work with business analysts and data architects to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Extract data from various source systems using PowerExchange, ensuring high data quality and integrity.
- Implement complex business logic within Informatica to meet data transformation and processing needs.
- Monitor and optimize ETL processes to ensure performance and reliability.
- Provide support for ETL processes, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and problem resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data-related technical issues and to implement continuous improvement practices.
- Document ETL processes, create data dictionaries, and develop standard operating procedures for ETL-related activities.
- Stay current with new technologies and techniques in ETL and data integration.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications.
- Engage in L1/L2 support as needed and provide on-call support for critical ETL jobs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter and at least 2 years of experience with Informatica PowerExchange.
- Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data structures, and methodologies.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
- Experience with real-time data integration and CDC (Change Data Capture) techniques using PowerExchange.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Ability to write high-performance, reusable, and reliable code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with other Informatica products such as IDQ, MDM, or IICS is a plus.
- Knowledge of additional data integration tools or programming languages is beneficial.
