Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Specialist

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of OpenShift, proficiency in tuning Java/Spring applications, and familiarity with Dynatrace. The role requires expertise in designing and maintaining high availability infrastructure, Oracle DB failover patterns, and implementing Blue/Green deployments. The successful candidate will also be well-versed in DevOps CI/CD practices and tooling, including Split IO, Git, Jenkins, Gradle, and Maven.
The Role
Responbilities:
- Deploy, configure, and manage OpenShift environments to support enterprise-level applications.
- Tune Java/Spring applications for optimal performance and stability.
- Utilize Dynatrace for application performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Design and implement high availability solutions and Oracle database failover mechanisms to ensure continuous operations.
- Execute Blue/Green deployments to minimize downtime during application updates.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline the software delivery process through effective CI/CD pipelines using Split IO.
- Maintain and enhance DevOps tooling, including source control (Git), build automation (Jenkins, Gradle, Maven), and deployment practices.
- Contribute to the development of infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate and replicate environments efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices throughout the infrastructure lifecycle.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirement:
You are:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience in infrastructure roles with a focus on OpenShift and Java/Spring application tuning.
- Proven track record with Dynatrace or similar application performance monitoring tools.
- Strong understanding of high availability concepts and Oracle DB failover patterns.
- Experience with Blue/Green deployment strategies.
- Proficiency in DevOps CI/CD methodologies and tools (Split IO, Git, Jenkins, Gradle, Maven).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to document processes and procedures clearly and accurately.
