Position Overview:
We seek a highly motivated and experienced Associate Attorney to join our Personal Auto Defense team in Fort Worth, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in personal auto defense, with a strong background in insurance defense litigation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in personal auto-defense cases, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial proceedings.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients, including insurance companies and policyholders.
- Manage a diverse caseload from inception to resolution.
- Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to develop case strategies.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Stay current on legal developments, particularly in personal auto defense and insurance law.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active state bar membership in Texas (additional state bars are a plus).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal auto defense or insurance defense litigation.
- Proven track record of handling cases independently and achieving favorable outcomes.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
