Job Description:
The RPA Solutions Architect will report to the Robotics Process Automation Manager. This role is responsible for specifying and enforcing bot architectural standards, designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable process automation solutions using UiPath Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software. The Bot Architect will develop specifications to design, configure, and implement automated workflow solutions, streamline business processes, and ensure the seamless integration of automation components with existing systems. This role is critical in defining the architecture of automation solutions, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with the overall IT strategy.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Architectural Standards: Specify and enforce architectural standards and best practices for bot development and deployment, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Design and Deployment: Design, deploy, and maintain scalable process automation solutions using UiPath.
- Specifications Development: Develop detailed specifications to design, configure, and implement automated workflow solutions.
- Automation Components: Deliver reusable automation components compatible with existing systems and applications using UiPath.
- Monitoring and Testing: Routinely monitor and test RPA solutions, troubleshoot, and resolve functional issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Process Analysis: Gather and analyze existing process flows, use cases, and technical requirements to identify new opportunities for automation.
- Performance Metrics: Collect data and metrics to monitor and maintain bot performance, measure utilization, and enhance functionality.
- Documentation: Document and maintain scripts, algorithms, and logic to ensure accurate, efficient, and reliable performance and functionality.
Qualifications:
- 4-7 years of RPA development and process optimization experience
- 4-7 years of Solutions Architecture experience
- Advanced UiPath knowledge or demonstrated aptitude for rapid acquisition (including Orchestrator, Document Understanding, Communication Mining, Queues/Transactions, Dispatcher/Performers, and APIs)
- Experience with Design Documentation
- Proficiency in Process and Workflow analysis
- Flexible mindset preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate IT technical skills, including code analysis, impact analysis, and risk assessment
