Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented In-House Travel Agent to support our privately-owned pharmacy chain. The successful candidate will oversee all corporate travel arrangements, including flight, hotel, and car rental bookings, ensuring cost-efficiency while strictly adhering to company travel policies. With an average of 20 bookings per day, the role requires proficiency in navigating secondary travel platforms, such as Travelocity, and a strong ability to identify the most advantageous deals to optimize savings for the company. This role is vital in ensuring smooth, cost-efficient travel arrangements that align with company policies and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage travel arrangements (flights, hotels, car rentals) for company employees, averaging 20 bookings per day.
- Use platforms like Travelocity to find cost-effective options and negotiate with vendors for the best rates.
- Monitor travel expenses, ensuring compliance with budgets and policies.
- Handle last-minute changes and provide comprehensive travel itineraries and support.
- Track travel expenditures and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Stay current on industry trends and travel technologies to improve the company’s travel processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a corporate travel agent or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of travel booking platforms and secondary travel markets.
- Ability to handle a high volume of bookings with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to secure cost-effective travel options.
- Familiarity with travel management software and tools.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to handle travel emergencies or last-minute changes calmly and efficiently.
Physical Demands:

- May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day

Holiday & PTO Policy:
We provide qualifying full-time employees with 23 PTO (Paid Time Off) days annually. PTO is used for holidays, vacation, sick leave, and personal leave.
Please note, because we are a pharmacy most of our locations are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and therefore schedules may change as determined by the needs of the business.
