Position: Business Intelligence and Project Controls Specialist
Overview:
We are seeking a Data Quality and Project Controls Specialist to ensure the accuracy and consistency of project data, preventing any interruptions in monthly routines. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining data integrity, managing data quality processes, and coordinating with a global team to resolve data-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management and Quality Control:
- Act as a Superuser for project cost engineering and control systems.
- Develop and implement data quality assurance and control routines across multiple systems, including EcoSys, Primavera P6, JIRA CMT, and central data tables.
- Conduct necessary data transformations to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Assist in generating and maintaining Power BI reports to support project controls.
Project Controls and Reporting:
- Execute risk and quality management plans to effectively manage the project controls scope of work.
- Lead initiatives to enhance capital efficiency and improve productivity within the function.
- Provide expert input on project controls to support value improvement practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, identifying opportunities for enhanced capital efficiency and productivity.
Cross-Functional Integration:
- Integrate and leverage global processes, systems, and procedures to deliver efficient solutions, particularly in reporting.
- Ensure compliance with data standards and procedures across all functional processes.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to align on best practices and optimize reporting solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Significant experience in Project Controls roles.
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of identifying trends, developing solutions, and driving actions.
- Skilled in preparing reports and delivering training sessions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
- Experience using project cost management systems and developing SQL code.
- Preferred experience with Power BI and EcoSys.
