A fast-growing aerospace company is looking for an EHS Specialist to join its team at a site near the Torrance, CA area. The selected candidate will collaborate with the broader EHS team to meet objectives and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
The Role:
- Develop, manage, and implement health and safety procedures in line with federal, state, local, and corporate requirements.
- Address electrical safety issues and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Evaluate SOPs, conduct JHAs, and manage incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs.
The Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Occupational Health and Safety, or a relevant major.
- 3-5+ years of EHS experience in heavy manufacturing or other high-risk industry
- Experience in electrical safety and high voltage safety
