Position Summary: Senior Associate
Reporting to the Vice President, the Senior Associate will play a key role in the full investment cycle, from sourcing opportunities and conducting valuations to deal structuring and offering strategic support to portfolio companies. This role also involves collaboration with senior investment professionals and the management teams of portfolio companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and source potential investment opportunities by leveraging the firm’s network.
- Lead due diligence, deal structuring, financial modeling, and execute investments.
- Contribute to Investment Committee meetings and participate in decision-making processes.
- Work with portfolio companies on growth strategies, operational initiatives, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and review investment memoranda for committee approval.
- Mentor and coach junior team members to enhance their technical and investment skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a similar field.
- Proficiency in the private equity investment process, including financial modeling and business analysis.
- Strong investment sourcing and market mapping skills, with the ability to build and maintain a network of contacts.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and emotional intelligence with a data-driven mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and thrive under pressure.
