Description:
The Repurchase Analyst will be responsible for supporting the firm's repurchase and claim activity for their purchasing and sale of residential mortgages. The position will be tasked with identifying findings and filing claims due to breaches against the purchase agreement, in collaboration with internal and external parties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the repurchase and claim process by reviewing credit and compliance underwriting
- Coordinate internal and external requirements with Sellers and Purchasers
- Oversee the day-to-day pipeline of claims and quality control findings
- Collaborate with teams such as quality control, due diligence, trading desk, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in related field
- 3+ years within the mortgage industry (due diligence, originations, underwriting)
- Knowledge of current mortgage compliance laws and regulations
- Strong technical skills (Excel preferred)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
