Job Summary: The Purchasing Coordinator is mainly responsible for increasing clients’ participation. Developing a rapport by interfacing in meetings (in-person and virtually) is key to educating, engaging, and capturing feedback. Another important aspect is warehousing the utilization and spending. There would be data entry in Excel, as well as updating vendor information in the company’s CRM and the Group Purchasing Program’s communication platforms. The program has all of its processes written for personnel to take over and proactively contribute to improve upon for better results with customer service and the program’s success. There would be a small amount of order requisitions on behalf of clients and direct buying for the company. This is a key position where professionalism and kindness with team members, clients, and vendors are of the utmost importance.
Essential Job Functions:
- Proactively communicate verbally and in writing to clients regarding The Group Purchasing Program.
- Help enroll clients with preferred vendors and follow up to ensure completion and satisfaction.
- Request sales and utilization reports every calendar quarter from preferred vendors.
- Responsible for warehousing the data and tracking client’s participation using Excel.
- Coordinate and monitor product deliveries.
- Respond to emails and answer phone calls in a timely fashion.
- Virtually meet and present to clients.
- Effective interpersonal, conflict management, resolution, and communication skills when working with clients and vendors.
- Work on special projects or other duties as assigned.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Good interpersonal skills: Ability to listen, communicate issues clearly and provide solutions

- Associate in Arts Degree or completion of some courses college preferred and/or 2 years of experience in supply chain services
