Position Summary: We are actively seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager with specialized expertise in managing substantial public works projects. This crucial role entails comprehensive oversight of project administration, direction, and coordination, involving close collaboration with field supervisory personnel and subcontractors. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact between our project team and esteemed stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and owners, to ensure the flawless execution of projects from inception to completion.
Location: Tallahassee, FL (On-site)
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Personnel Management: Spearhead the hiring, training, and performance evaluations of project teams, adapting roles and responsibilities in alignment with company goals.
- Project Oversight and Coordination: Act as the chief negotiator with project owners and stakeholders, establishing and nurturing professional relationships to facilitate project success.
- Financial Oversight: Approve and oversee project budgets, schedules, and contracts, ensuring strict compliance with financial protocols and project specifications.
- Quality Control and Compliance: Lead the company’s Quality Improvement Plan, maintaining adherence to all regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Safety and Standards Enforcement: Conduct detailed audits of job sites to oversee and ensure the maintenance of time, cost, quality, and safety standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective and transparent communication with all project-related personnel, fostering a collaborative project environment.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Experience: At least 10 years of construction management experience, with a strong preference for expertise in public works and large municipal projects valued over $100 million.
- Certification: General Contractors License is preferred.
- Skills: Advanced knowledge of construction industry practices, exceptional leadership qualities, and a strategic, detail-oriented mindset committed to excellence.
