Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Duration: 9 Months Contract Possibility of Extending

Visa Status: USC & Green Card only on W2.

1) Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with Department staff.

2) Project Management Professional certification.

3) A minimum of ten (10) years of IT business/industry work experience.

4) A minimum of seven (7) years of project management experience.

5) Experience with Agile Methodologies.

6) A minimum of five (5) years of experience managing projects in accordance with PMI’s standards as presented in A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide).

7) A minimum of three (3) years developing program or project strategy, business cases, and enterprise-wide program/project plans.

8) A minimum of three (3) years of experience managing large, cross-divisional, and cross-functional software development programs/projects.

Preferred Experience:

1) Familiarity with the Florida PALM project;

2) Familiarity with FLAIR data;

3) Experience working on projects that impact multiple legacy systems;

4) Experience working with stakeholders from multiple business units;

5) Experience communicating with IT leadership and business leadership;

6) Experience facilitating requirements gathering and Joint Application Design sessions;

7) Experience with Agile Methodologies;

8) Experience preparing Legislative Budget Requests (LBR), Statements of Work (SOW), andOperational Work Plans (OWP).

9) Experience with State Purchasing rules, processes, and documentation.
