Each Hospitality Technologies Manager is responsible for the oversight of a collection of technology platforms and business systems that impact our guests’ stays. This role works closely with hotel operations and corporate business units to select, implement, and maintain these technologies.
We are currently offering an opportunity to join the Hotel Technology Team at our Dallas Headquarters, supporting our food & beverage and retail technologies, including Oracle Simphony, Micros, Agilysys InfoGenesis, Avero, OpenTable, and Yellow Dog.
Responsibilities:
- Manages hotel technology product solutions and vendor relationships.
- Creates product roadmaps, functionality documents, project plans, and presentations.
- Develops internal product standards and technical support materials.
- Facilitates contract negotiations and processes final contracts.
- Verifies project proposals and equipment orders.
- Provides budget guidance on operational costs and terms.
- Creates and maintains lifecycle planning and budgets for implementations and upgrades.
- Works with hotel teams to assess product adoption and to schedule product upgrades.
- Manages project closure and operational handoff for product support by the IT Support Services and business teams.
- Serves as point of escalation for Support Services and business teams as needed.
- Travel to project locations in North America will be required.
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in a hospitality or technology related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of technology product and vendor management
- Experience working with the hospitality industry is preferred
- Knowledge of hotel and restaurant operations and familiarity with hotel technical products
- Proficient in project management methodologies and Microsoft Office Suite products
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities
- Aptitude for innovation and the ability to present succinct product ideas to leadership
- Understanding of vendor product roadmaps and their impact on technology and operational strategies
- Experience working with cross-functional teams at different reporting levels
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, presentation and problem-solving skills
- 40% travel
