Eastern Metal Supply is looking for an experienced Outside B2B sales representative to join our team, to manage the Dallas market.
Under general supervision, to help support and grow our business. Metals industrial experience with a proven record of accomplishment of successful new business development is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The following duties are typical of those performed by employees in this job title; however, employees may perform other related duties, and not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each employee in the job title:
- New account development and prospecting
- Increasing share at existing accounts
- New product introduction
- Effectively communicate EMS’ distinct proficiencies
- Margin improvement initiatives
- Suggestions for adding new inventory items
- Prepare and present pricing and proposals to customers
- Maintaining computer records as to customers volume, usage, and competitive feedback
- Effective time and territory management for traveling
Qualifications:
- Four year college degree is preferred
- Prior outside sales experience is required
- Ability to organize, plan and prioritize duties: Detail oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong math skills are required
