Korn Ferry has partnered with our client on their search for Sales Representative - In-Office (Not Remote or Hybrid).
Job Purpose
The Sales Representative assumes a pivotal role in spearheading and implementing the specialized sales initiatives. This position entails proactively identifying and cultivating relationships with prospective clients and partners, comprehensively grasping their unique demands, and customizing the company products to align with their needs. Moreover, this role focuses significantly on fielding collaborations between businesses, organizations, and schools.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
The role involves assuming leadership of the Sales Representative and engaging with organizations, business, schools, sports teams, and charitable organizations for their custom company orders. Responsibilities include:
- Initiating contact with corporations, organizations, schools, sports teams, etc., to facilitate the creation of custom apparel.
- Ensure compliance with all necessary licensing requirements.
- Collaborating with company graphic designers to develop the custom designs.
- Manage all orders with the manufacturers, overseeing production schedules, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Distribute goods to organizers and manage payment collections
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher strongly preferred.
- Prior sales experience is required (preferably in apparel, consumer goods or related industry).
- 5+ years’ experience growing sales strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to land new business is required.
- Longevity in previous roles strongly preferred.
- Must be a “go-getter”.
Additional Information
- Salary: $60k + 2% Commission
- Full-Time, in-person
- Hours: 9am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday
- Location: Plainview, NY
