Project Administrator – Construction
We are seeking a highly motivated Project Administrator to join a large General Contractor based in Nashville. If you're looking for a new challenge in a team-first environment and have experience as a Project or Contract Administrator, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and issue subcontract packages, change orders, and supplier purchase orders for all construction projects in accordance with internal procedures.
- Enter subcontracts and purchase orders into accounting software and ERP systems.
- Serve as a point of contact for subcontractors and vendors to facilitate contract negotiations and approvals, working closely with Project Managers and Accounting.
- Follow company SOPs to produce accurate subcontract agreements, change orders, and purchase orders.
- Attend project kick-off meetings to review contracts for billing requirements, change orders, fees, and retainage.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to verify job setup, ensure subcontractor compliance, and assist with initial licensing and TradeTapp submissions.
- Work daily with Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and Accounting to ensure smooth project operations.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Project/Contract Administrator.
- Notary or willing to become a notary.
- Familiarity with standard contract terms.
- Basic understanding of the construction process, purchasing, and supply chain procedures.
